MISSION STATEMENT

            The Mission of Kid’s Castle is to provide a quality early childhood education in a loving and nurturing environment in order to:

·         Meet the social, emotion, and developmental needs of young children 6 weeks to 12 years of age and their families.

·         Support families in their role as their child’s first teacher.

 

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT

Our philosophy believes that a strong working relationship between our teachers, family, and children is what makes a strong effective program.  We strive to create a warm and comfortable environment where children, teachers and families are given the freedom and guidance to explore the world around them.

The program recognizes that the needs of the whole child, as opposed to specific isolated areas of development, and supports the natural stages of the child’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.  Children develop concepts about themselves, others and the world by interacting through play.  Therefore our philosophy and curriculum are based on the belief that children learn through play and exploration.  The teachers will create an environment that exposes children to many learning possibilities in the course of their play, thereby allowing the children’s interests to serve as the foundation for learning.
